- The allocated visit time does not change
- Elate records the actual check-in and check-out timestamps for audit and records. This ensures accurate timing data while preserving the originally scheduled visit duration.
If the visit is not completed on the same day:
- The Check In button becomes inactive
- A Manager or Admin can complete the visit by:
- Using the Finance Overview section, or
- Clicking on the event, and the Edit button in the event via the event panel and selecting “Complete in the past” as the activity status

Completing visits in the past is restricted to managerial or administrative roles to protect data integrity.
